Virtual Occupational Therapist - MI

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services with expertise in both in-person and telehealth delivery methods. This role focuses on supporting students within a school environment, providing essential occupational therapy interventions to enhance their educational experience and daily functioning.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and delivering occupational therapy services tailored to students' individual needs.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms as well as in-person sessions to maximize therapy accessibility.
• Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in telehealth therapy modalities.
• Ability to manage and support a caseload of approximately 40 students.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability to work approximately 3 days per week (20-25 hours).

This position will serve students across multiple educational levels including lower and upper elementary as well as middle and high school ages. The role requires adaptability and a commitment to fostering positive developmental outcomes.
