Remote Occupational Therapist in NM

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide telehealth services in an educational setting. This role involves delivering support to two students, both age 7, requiring 30 minutes of direct therapy per week. The position demands 1 to 2 hours weekly, including time allocated for indirect tasks.

Location: Sanostee, NM (Telehealth options available for virtual Occupational Therapists)

Duration: August 3 through May 19

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth occupational therapy sessions tailored to the developmental needs of elementary-aged students.
• Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to implement effective intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies.
• Provide indirect services such as consultation, report writing, and treatment planning.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in pediatric settings, preferably schools.
• Strong knowledge of telehealth platforms and remote therapy delivery.
• Ability to engage young children and adapt therapeutic approaches to virtual environments.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
