Remote Occupational Therapist in OR
A part-time occupational therapist opportunity is available to provide telehealth services within a school setting in Seneca, OR. This role involves delivering specialized support to a caseload of 15-20 students across multiple small rural districts, served through an Education Service District (ESD). The position averages 12-15 hours per week, facilitating a flexible schedule that accommodates the unique needs of the communities served.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and interventions via teletherapy platforms
- Managing a caseload focused on school-based goals and functional skills development
- Providing direct therapy sessions and consulting with teachers and parents for student support
- Collaborating closely with educators and family members to create comprehensive, effective strategies
- Documenting and maintaining records in compliance with school and district requirements
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with school-based occupational therapy, particularly in telehealth or teletherapy settings
- Ability to work effectively with rural student populations and multi-district ESD programs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
