Virtual Occupational Therapist - WA
A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth services. This role requires delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to students through remote platforms, supporting their educational and developmental needs.
Location: Shelton, WA
Schedule: One day per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year (EOSY)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth to diverse student populations.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Assess student needs and progress, adapting interventions to meet evolving goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication with parents and school personnel.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
- Proven ability to deliver effective telehealth services for pediatric or school-aged clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working remotely.
- Familiarity with school systems and special education programming is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and manage a dedicated telehealth caseload.
