Virtual Occupational Therapist - WA

A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based telehealth services. This role requires delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions to students through remote platforms, supporting their educational and developmental needs.

Location: Shelton, WA
Schedule: One day per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year (EOSY)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services via telehealth to diverse student populations.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Assess student needs and progress, adapting interventions to meet evolving goals.
• Maintain thorough documentation and communication with parents and school personnel.
• Participate in meetings and professional development as required.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
• Proven ability to deliver effective telehealth services for pediatric or school-aged clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to working remotely.
• Familiarity with school systems and special education programming is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage a dedicated telehealth caseload.
