Virtual Occupational Therapist - Illinois

A full-time Occupational Therapist with expertise in telehealth and school-based services is sought for a contract position located in South Holland, IL. This role focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions within the educational setting, utilizing both in-person and telehealth methods to support student development and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a school environment.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans addressing students' functional needs.
• Implement therapeutic strategies via telehealth as well as traditional onsite sessions.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student participation and learning.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant regulations and professional standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Proven experience delivering OT services in schools, including telehealth.

• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for remote service delivery.
