A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in school-based services, located in Thomaston, GA. This role focuses on providing therapeutic support to students in an educational setting, assisting them in overcoming physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges that impact their learning and participation in school activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations and developing individualized intervention plans for students requiring OT services.
• Implementing therapeutic techniques to improve students motor skills, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress and adapt classroom environments.
• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records as required by school policies and regulations.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to a multidisciplinary approach for student success.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license or certification.
