Remote School Physical Therapist - IL

A contract position is available for a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based services, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. The role focuses on delivering therapy services primarily through telehealth modalities within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and re-evaluations of students referred for physical therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families.
• Deliver physical therapy interventions tailored to meet students educational needs, utilizing telehealth platforms effectively.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate outcomes with multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards relating to school-based therapy services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license.
• Experience in school-based physical therapy and telehealth service delivery.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills for pediatric populations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and educational personnel.
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels with a flexible and responsive approach.

Position Details:

• Location: Deerfield, IL.
• Contract term: November through February.
• Schedule: Approximately 16 hours per week, spread over two days.
• Caseload: Students in grades pre-kindergarten to 8th grade.
