Remote Physical Therapist in PA

A contract position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based services, located in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing therapeutic support to students within a school environment, combining in-person and remote interventions to enhance student mobility and function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services totaling approximately 90 minutes per week, with flexibility to split sessions as needed
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress accurately
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student health and learning outcomes through tailored physical therapy interventions
• Participate in Conventional School Year (CSY), Extended School Year (ESY), and potentially Non-Standard Year (NSY) service schedules
• Ensure compliance with school policies and telehealth regulations when delivering services remotely

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy licensure in Pennsylvania
• Experience providing physical therapy within school settings, including telehealth service delivery
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt treatment plans in response to missed sessions or changing student needs
• Familiarity with documentation requirements for school-based therapy services
