Online Physical Therapist | Illinois

Provide physical therapy services in school settings across multiple locations in Romeoville and Bolingbrook, IL, focusing on enhancing student mobility and independence. This contract role offers the opportunity to work full-time (preferred) or part-time, supporting a caseload of 35-45 students within both self-contained and general education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students ranging from elementary through transition programs.
• Train and support the use of positioning and mobility equipment.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, nurses, and paraprofessionals to maximize student participation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including daily notes, progress reports, and goal updates.
• Travel between multiple school sites during the workweek to provide consistent care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT).
• Possess a valid Illinois Physical Therapy License.
• Experience in school-based physical therapy, including telehealth applications, is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to varying school schedules.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with educational team members.

Work Schedule and Location:

• Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered.
• 37.5 billable hours per week.
• Monday through Friday with starting times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, varying by school schedule.
• Service provided in multiple schools throughout Romeoville and Bolingbrook areas.
