School Psychologist - Riverside, CA
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support a school district near Corona, California. This role starts in mid-April and continues through May 29, 2026, providing critical psychological services across a split assignment with elementary students.
The assignment includes working with general education and Resource Specialist Program (RSP) students in grades TK-5, as well as supporting two autism classes for grades TK-4. The daily schedule is 7.5 hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in general education, RSP, and autism classrooms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and interventions tailored to the diverse needs of elementary students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary to support academic and social-emotional growth.
- Participate in meetings related to student services and contribute to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid credential or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Strong skills in conducting assessments, interpreting psychological data, and writing detailed reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Location: This position is based in the Riverside area, near Corona, California, supporting multiple elementary classrooms.
