Remote School Psychologist | Vermont
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services within an educational setting. This position is designed to support students through remote psychological assessments, consultations, and interventions, ensuring access to mental health services regardless of location.
Responsibilities include conducting psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting assessment data, collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing telehealth-based counseling and crisis intervention as needed. The role demands maintaining compliant documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations and contributing to the development of behavior management strategies and school-wide mental health initiatives.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Eligibility for certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state
- Experience delivering psychological services via telehealth platforms
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and psychoeducational testing procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education laws
