School Psychologist Teletherapy - Ohio
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist specializing in providing telehealth services. This role focuses on supporting elementary students, specifically grades K-5, with a caseload suited to a full-time schedule of five days per week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on school days, with a flexible hybrid model offering three days in a remote setting, particularly for conducting evaluations.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments remotely
- Supporting students through telehealth interventions and consultations
- Collaborating with educators and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports in accordance with relevant policies
- Managing a caseload within the elementary school population (K-5)
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience delivering telehealth services in an educational environment
- Strong knowledge of child development and special education laws
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently in a remote setting
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
