Virtual School Psychologist - Florida
A School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services is sought to support K-12 students through remote psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention. This contract position based in Homestead, FL, offers the opportunity to utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student learning and well-being in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations using telehealth platforms in accordance with established guidelines
- Provide consultation and support to educators, families, and students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to promote student success and mental health
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust services as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all confidentiality and legal standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Demonstrated experience delivering telehealth psychological services within schools
- Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessment tools and methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for virtual interaction with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage caseloads independently and adapt to evolving telehealth technologies and policies
