Virtual School Psychologist | Alabama

A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist skilled in delivering services via telehealth. This role supports student mental health and learning needs within a school setting, utilizing remote platforms to conduct assessments, counseling, and consultations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
• Provide telehealth counseling and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate educational plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as necessary
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards
• Offer crisis intervention and support as required

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist license or certification
• Proven experience conducting psychological services via telehealth
• Strong knowledge of educational psychology and relevant state/federal regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for virtual interactions
• Ability to manage caseload independently under a contract arrangement
