About the Role:
VocoVision is looking for a skilled and compassionate Sign Language Interpreter to join our dynamic virtual team. This position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
There are both full time and part time opportunities!
Key Responsibilities:

Provide real-time sign language interpretation for classroom lectures, discussions, and other educational activities, ensuring students have equal access to learning.

Interpret student questions and comments during lessons, facilitating communication between the students and instructors.

Support students in extracurricular activities, lunch periods, and social interactions to foster an inclusive environment.

Assist in parent-teacher conferences, school assemblies, and other events, helping bridge communication between deaf students, their families, and staff.

Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure students receive the accommodations and support they need to succeed.
Qualifications:

Certification: American Sign Language English Interpretation (ASLEI) accreditation is required.

EIPA Requirements: 3.5

Preferred: Written EIPA certification.
