Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter with telehealth experience to support educational settings in Des Moines, IA. This contract position involves facilitating effective communication between students, educators, and staff by providing high-quality interpretive services both in-person and through telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Interpreting spoken language into sign language and vice versa in real-time to ensure clear communication.
• Utilizing telehealth technology to deliver remote interpreting services as needed.
• Collaborating with educators, students, and support staff to adapt communication methods and enhance understanding.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interpreting assignments.
• Participating in scheduled sessions and accommodating varying school schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with current certification or equivalent credentials.
