A contract opportunity is available for a Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services to support a middle school caseload. This role involves working directly with one student, providing clear and effective communication assistance to ensure accessibility and engagement within the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between the student and educators by interpreting spoken language to sign language and vice versa during telehealth sessions.
• Support the students learning needs by maintaining clear, accurate, and timely interpreting services throughout the academic day.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt communication strategies tailored to the student's requirements.
• Ensure adherence to confidentiality and professional ethical standards at all times.
• Attend meetings or training sessions as needed to stay informed on best practices in sign language interpreting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter with proficiency in telehealth settings.
