Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Adamsville, TN

A contract opportunity is available in Adamsville, TN, for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized care within a school setting. This role focuses on delivering expert speech and language services to pediatric and/or school-aged students, emphasizing individualized treatment and collaborative care approaches.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Providing therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language goals
• Monitoring and recording student progress with detailed documentation
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective care
• Engaging families in the therapy process through education and communication

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology for Tennessee. A Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
