Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Albany, NY
This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a contract position within a K-12 school setting in Albany, NY. The role is designed to support students across all grades, offering flexible scheduling within the school week. Interested candidates should be prepared to start as soon as possible, with the assignment lasting through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to meet each student's specific communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with NYDOE guidelines and school policies.
- Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development as required.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid New York State SLP License through the NYDOE.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school settings, is highly preferred.
- CCC-SLP certification and completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations K-12.
