Speech and Language Pathologist in Benton Harbor, MI
Seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech and language services in a school setting located in Benton Harbor, MI. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support students ages birth to 21, with a primary focus on children aged 3 to 10. The role requires delivering individualized therapy to a diverse caseload of students with various primary disabilities, all centered around SLP services.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
Position details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 5, 2026
- Work Schedule: 35+ hours per week, 5 days per week
- Age Group Served: Birth to 21 years, primarily 3 to 10
- Caseload: Students requiring speech and language interventions across a range of disabilities
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations
