Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Boston, MA
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to support students in a school setting. This role is based in Boston, MA, serving kindergarten through 2nd-grade students within a single building. The position offers a structured schedule and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the communication development of young learners.
Key Details:
- Contract duration: April 1 to June 18
- Hours per week: 32.5
- Caseload: Approximately 32 students
- Age group: Kindergarten to 2nd grade
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services tailored to the needs of each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support efforts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with early childhood populations, especially K-2 students
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, educators, and families
- Knowledge of school-based therapy requirements and documentation standards
