School-Based SLP | Brimley, Michigan
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students across PreK-12 settings. This role is based in Brimley, MI, within a school environment serving a diverse student population from early childhood through high school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student success.
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy services in compliance with educational and state regulations.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and intervention plans.
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to students educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working in school settings, preferably serving PreK-12 students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
