A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized speech and language services in a school setting in Cassopolis, MI. This contract position starts ASAP and runs through June 5, 2026. The role requires delivering focused therapy primarily to children ages 3 to 10, within an age range spanning birth to 21. The caseload includes students with various primary disabilities, all needing targeted SLP support to enhance their communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
Job Details:
- Contract position
- Full-time hours: 35+ hours per week, 5 days per week
- Caseload concentrated on providing speech and language therapy services
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly
