A full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Cleveland, OH, serving an elementary school environment with grades Pre-K through 5. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic educational setting with a focus on supporting diverse learners, including students with autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to students from Pre-K to 5th grade.
- Manage a weighted caseload of approximately 80 students.
- Deliver compensatory services to address therapy needs that accumulated during a vacancy since October.
- Work closely with classrooms housing Pre-K and K-5 students on the autism spectrum.
- Support students utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and AAC devices.
- Strong organizational skills to manage a substantial caseload and compensatory service requirements.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and engage effectively with students and staff.
