School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fredericksburg, Virginia
This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Fredericksburg, VA. The position runs from August 12, 2025, through May 22, 2026, offering a full-time contract role with onsite responsibilities and an average workweek of 37.5 hours. Multiple openings are available to assist a diverse caseload across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate effective communication interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in regular professional development and clinical team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, particularly with children from kindergarten through grade 12.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language pathology best practices in educational environments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
