Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Jamaica, New York
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services at a high school setting in Jamaica, NY. This contract position offers a chance to support adolescent students with communication needs through targeted speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to high school students on your caseload
- Utilize clinical skills to assess and treat a variety of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school protocols
- Employ teletherapy methods as needed to enhance service delivery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings
- Competency in teletherapy platforms and pediatric speech therapy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Position Details:
- Part-time contract position, 4.5 to 5 hours per week across 2 days
