A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials is needed for the 2026-2027 school year in La Push, WA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support a diverse student population across early childhood to high school within a single campus that includes three buildings (elementary, middle, and high school). The primary focus will be on students in the early childhood to first-grade range, alongside several older students with higher needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services primarily to students in pre-kindergarten through first grade, with specialized support for older students with complex needs.
  • Manage a caseload that begins around 36 students and grows to approximately 42-44 by the end of the school year.
  • Conduct evaluations, attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and collaborate with educators and families.
  • Deliver therapy primarily at the elementary school building while remaining flexible across the other two school facilities as needed.
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working with early childhood to adolescent students in educational settings.
  • Ability to manage a moderately heavy caseload with a mix of mild to moderate and severe speech-language disorders.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary team involvement.
  • Willingness to work full-time, five days a week (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM), with additional time for evaluations and meetings as needed.

Location and Contract Details:

  • Location: La Push, WA.
  • Contract Dates: Approximately September 1, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, full school days.
