Independent Contractor Speech Language Pathologist Social Communication Specialist (Virginia)

Focus your expertise on social communication disorders with this remote SLP role serving Virginia students. You will work with children and adolescents to improve pragmatic language, social skills, and conversational abilities. Responsibilities:

• Conduct pragmatic language assessments virtually

• Provide therapy targeting social skills and conversational turn-taking

• Develop social narratives and group activities

• Consult with teachers on social communication strategies

• Document sessions and progress toward goals

• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions

VOCOVISION Requirements

Must have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, or Communication Science's and disorders

Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance

Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)

Home computer with high internet speed

Passed basic tech screening

Interview Process:

• 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
• Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
