A K-12 school in Manteca, CA is seeking a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support for students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time contract opportunity offers a dynamic caseload of 55 students with mild to moderate disabilities, including autism and speech-related challenges, in a supportive educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and delivering services as detailed in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Providing speech therapy through pull-out, push-in, and consultation models
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Attending IEP meetings and contributing to team planning
- Serving students across multiple sites, including specialized classrooms such as Autism SDC and SDC ESN
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California (CSLPA eligible)
- Experience working with K-12 students across varied disability profiles
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging from preschool intake through middle school students
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based interventions to support student progress
