A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Mechanicsville, VA. This contract position serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade and requires on-site presence. The role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct therapy services and support students communication skills
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or appropriate certification for SLP practice in schools
• Experience working with children across K-12 grade levels preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to manage a caseload and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
