VocoVision is collaborating with a school district in Alabama to recruit a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their expanding network. We connect schools with qualified tele-practitioners like you, providing a flexible platform for effective teaching, assessment, and therapy, either on a full-year or short-term basis.
Platform:
- HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform VocoVision
- Zoom interface
- Scheduling and Continuing Education Tools
- Assessment and Therapy tools including games, interactive assignments, and digitized assessment tools for Speech Therapy
- No storage of student data on our platform*
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
- Active licensure in Alabama
- Ability to lead IEP's and conduct evaluations, with virtual support from internal clinical team
- Strong tech skills and interpersonal communication abilities
Job Details:
- Remainder of the 2025 school year
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
- Focus on K-12 students across multiple schools
- Mild to moderate disabilities
- Direct therapy for receptive, expressive, and articulation skills
- Remote collaboration with team members and parents
- District email access and IEP system utilization
Essential Functions:
- Conduct multi-factored evaluations to identify students with speech and language impairments
- Provide remote speech and language services for therapy and prevention
- Assist in curriculum development and local policies related to speech and language disabilities
- Deliver tele-services for both school and community settings
- Implement speech/language services via a HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform, individually or in small groups
- Plan and execute effective, tailored educational programs
- Foster inclusive learning environments respecting diverse student needs and abilities
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding goals, objectives, and progress
- Attend parent conferences as needed
- Utilize best practices and instructional techniques suitable for diverse student populations
- Maintain professional conduct and adherence to school policies
