School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Oroville, California
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services. This role is located in Oroville, CA, offering an engaging environment to support childrens communication development and deliver impactful speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients presenting with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide therapy sessions focused on achieving speech and language goals
- Monitor, record, and analyze patient progress with detailed documentation
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care
- Involve and educate families to promote active participation in the therapy process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
