Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in Paynesville, MN
This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support at an elementary school in Paynesville, MN. The role is onsite, offering 20 hours per week spread across three days, working with a caseload of approximately 17-20 students from Pre-K through 5th grade. The ideal candidate will use their expertise in pediatric speech-language therapy to support communication development in a school setting.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in elementary schools
- Knowledge of Speech Language Pathology in both healthcare and school settings
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and families
Role responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized speech therapy plans
- Delivering evidence-based interventions to support student communication needs
- Monitoring and documenting student progress regularly
