School Speech Pathology | Pickford, Michigan

This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with SLP-CCC certification to provide valuable services across multiple educational settings in Pickford, MI. This contract role involves working within diverse school environments, supporting students from early childhood through high school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students at varying developmental levels.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Assess, document, and report on student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines.
• Provide therapy services at three different schools on a part-time schedule.

Schedule and Locations:

• Ojibwe Charter School (Kindergarten through 6th grade): 3 days per week
• Rudyard Area School (High School): 1 day per week
• Whitefish Township Community School (Kindergarten through 12th grade): 1 day per week

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current SLP license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working within school settings preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
