Speech Pathology - Portage, MI
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is sought to provide specialized speech and language services in a school setting located in Portage, MI. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through June 5, 2026. The role supports students primarily aged 3 to 10, with caseloads including individuals from birth up to 21 years old who require focused speech and language intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting communication goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and therapy sessions.
- Adapt services to address the diverse needs of students with various primary disabilities.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
