A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or Paraprofessional position is available at an elementary school in Portsmouth, VA. This onsite contract role requires candidates to hold a valid Virginia SLP or SLPA license and focuses on providing speech and language support to elementary-level students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary school students
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Monitor and document student progress to adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
Assist with classroom accommodations and interventions to enhance student participation

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Virginia SLP or SLPA license required
Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
