A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or Paraprofessional position is available at an elementary school in Portsmouth, VA. This onsite contract role requires candidates to hold a valid Virginia SLP or SLPA license and focuses on providing speech and language support to elementary-level students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor and document student progress to adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Assist with classroom accommodations and interventions to enhance student participation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Virginia SLP or SLPA license required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred
