School Speech Therapist | Santa Rosa, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to cover a maternity leave at a school in Santa Rosa, CA. This contract assignment is primarily focused on supporting elementary students and runs from March 30 to June 3, with an ideal overlap week starting March 30. The school will observe spring break from April 6-10.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Ability to provide full-time availability throughout the contract period
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide services in compliance with school policies and educational guidelines
