Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Michigan
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 26/27 school year, serving students from kindergarten through 6th grade. This contract role requires an engaging professional to manage a caseload of 50-60 students, providing telespeech and in-person services within a school setting. The position offers a 35-hour workweek and is based in Algonac, MI.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering speech therapy services.
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilizing telepractice methodologies alongside traditional therapy to meet student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license (MI SLP license) is required.
- Experience working with children in school environments, particularly grades K-6.
- Proficiency in both teletherapy and direct speech therapy delivery.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
