Telehealth Speech Therapy in PA
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in both traditional school-based speech therapy and telespeech services. The role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language support to students, addressing diverse communication needs through in-person and virtual platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Providing direct speech therapy services in a school setting as well as via teletherapy
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participating in meetings and providing consultation regarding communication strategies and accommodations
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in educational environments
- Familiarity with telespeech platforms and virtual therapy best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and families
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to a variety of learning styles and settings
