A full-time, contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services. This role serves a high school caseload consisting of approximately 55 students with mild to moderate, and some severe, disabilities. The position is based in Arvin, CA, within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language pathology services through teletherapy platforms
- Managing a diverse caseload of high school students with varying speech and language needs
- Collaborating with onsite facilitators provided by the district to support student engagement and therapy effectiveness
- Utilizing the Student Information Reporting and Accountability System (SIRAS) for documentation and reporting
- Adhering to school policies and state regulations regarding special education services
Preferred qualifications include:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
- Previous experience working in California schools supporting students with special needs
- Proficiency with teletherapy service delivery models and technology
- Familiarity with managing caseloads in a school environment, particularly high school settings
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
