Virtual SLP in ME
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services through telespeech methods for a high school student in Auburn, Maine. This part-time contract role involves delivering tailored therapy to a 15-year-old learner, focusing on enhancing communication skills within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech therapy sessions remotely utilizing telepractice platforms.
- Collaborate with the student's IEP team to align therapy goals with educational objectives.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records according to state guidelines.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and provide professional insights during IEP reviews.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) is required.
- Current Maine State license to practice speech-language pathology.
- PROMPT certification is mandatory to support specialized intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with telespeech service delivery and remote therapy best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
- Experience working with adolescent students in a school environment preferred.
Contract Details:
- Position based in Auburn, ME, servicing one high school student.
