Grades 6 - 8 Grades K - 5 SLP Remote in LA
Providing speech-language therapy services via telepractice, this role supports students in grades K8 with a focus on both elementary (K5) and middle school (68) populations. The position is based in Baton Rouge, LA, and is available on a contract basis for the remainder of the current school year.
Responsibilities include delivering targeted speech-language pathology interventions tailored to individual student needs. Services will be conducted through a telespeech platform, requiring strong proficiency with virtual therapy methods. Collaboration with a dedicated facilitator is an integral part of the role, as this individual will assist by gathering students for sessions, ensuring smooth and timely service delivery.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings
- Proven expertise in telespeech or telepractice services
- Experience working with children across early and middle school grades
- Strong communication skills for engaging students remotely
- Ability to deliver individualized therapy plans efficiently and effectively
