Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | Massachusetts
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist role is available in Belmont, MA, working onsite within a school environment. This position focuses on providing speech therapy services to students in grades 4 through 6, with a caseload that requires expertise in pediatric speech and language development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations and implementing individualized speech therapy plans tailored to students communication needs.
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy sessions, utilizing telespeech methods when appropriate.
- Collaborating with educators and families to support students' communication goals in academic and social settings.
- Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Participating in meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Current Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders typical in elementary school-aged children.
- Ability to effectively use telespeech technology alongside traditional therapy methods.
