Teletherapy Speech Therapy in School Setting - Texas

A contract opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide telespeech and school-based services in Castroville, TX. This role focuses on managing speech therapy caseloads within an elementary school setting and overseeing support staff during a maternity leave period from February 1 to April 30, working 25-30 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), managing speech-only caseloads, and facilitating Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings in compliance with Texas educational requirements. This position does not involve administering formal testing or providing direct therapy minutes, as those duties are supported by the SLPA.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working in Texas schools, particularly with ARD meeting management
• Familiarity with telespeech and teletherapy modalities is a plus
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills to oversee SLPA contributions effectively
