Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Remote - Georgia
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available in an elementary school setting in Cusseta, GA. This onsite contract position focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services to young students, supporting their academic and communicative development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy sessions tailored to elementary-aged children
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed to maximize outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within a school environment
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is highly desirable
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent practical experience
- Skilled in telespeech and healthcare-based speech therapy modalities is advantageous
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and support a diverse student population
