Telehealth Speech Language Pathologist | New York
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based and pediatric care, including teletherapy services. This role supports students requiring communication development interventions within educational settings while incorporating remote therapy methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy services through both in-person sessions and telespeech platforms.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to promote effective communication skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and school district requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision during the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience providing teletherapy (telespeech) and in-person interventions in pediatric and school environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare-based speech pathology and pediatric therapies.
- Current state licensure for speech-language pathology.
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) eligibility or completion.
