A leave coverage opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a school setting near Decatur, Alabama. This full-time contract position spans approximately from April 20, 2026, through May 20, 2026, providing essential therapeutic services during a temporary absence.

Key qualifications and experience include:

Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Valid Alabama SLP license and school credential
Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school environments
Ability to deliver telespeech and teletherapy services effectively
Familiarity with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) requirements
Comfort working with children across a broad age range, from early childhood through middle school

Primary responsibilities will involve assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language therapy programs tailored to individual student needs. Delivering services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms may be required to accommodate student schedules and health considerations.
