Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in IL
Contract opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist in Dixon, IL, supporting a school setting with flexible caseload options for the spring semester. The position offers two distinct caseload choices tailored to specific age groups and needs.
Caseload Options:
- Elementary to Middle School: Serve approximately 50 students in grades 4 through 8 within one building, including 5 reevaluations. Scheduled hours are 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Preschool and Transition: Manage a caseload of 40 students focusing on early intervention and transition-aged individuals, with 1 reevaluation planned. AAC devices such as Eyegaze are regularly used to support communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs
- Conduct speech and language assessments and prepare reevaluations
- Utilize assistive technology and AAC devices as appropriate
- Collaborate with educational staff to monitor student progress
Qualifications:
- Illinois State License in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desired
- Applications from candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year considered
- Experience with school-based caseload preferred
- Familiarity with AAC technology including Eyegaze
Contract Duration:

- End Date: June 11, 2027
