Remote School Speech Therapy - North Dakota
A speech-language pathologist with expertise in telepractice is needed to provide services primarily to K-5 students. This role focuses on delivering telespeech and teletherapy in a supportive school environment, including serving children in an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting. A paraeducator will assist with student support during sessions, allowing for focused therapy delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering teletherapy sessions to address communication goals
- Collaborating with educational staff and paraeducators to support student progress
- Documenting therapy outcomes and maintaining compliance with program requirements
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for teletherapy practice
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in K-5 settings
- Familiarity with supporting students with ASD through speech and language interventions
- Competency in telecommunication technologies used for speech therapy delivery
- Ability to work effectively within a structured schedule
This assignment is contract-based with a part-time schedule of approximately 32 hours per week, located in the Emerado, North Dakota area. Support is available to enhance therapy effectiveness and ensure student engagement.
