Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in AZ

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide telespeech services in Florence, AZ. This role involves managing a diverse caseload within a school setting, supporting students with a range of communication needs.

The caseload includes 55 students, 17 of whom are identified with Speech or Language Impairment (SLI). Student needs vary broadly, encompassing general education as well as self-contained classroom environments. Collaboration with a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is part of the role, enhancing service delivery and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telespeech therapy services tailored to individual student goals and needs
• Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for a wide range of speech and language disorders
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Work collaboratively with educational staff to support students academic and communication success
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in telespeech service delivery in a school setting
• Ability to manage a sizable caseload with varied student needs, including SLI
• Familiarity with supporting students in both general education and self-contained environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working alongside SLPA staff
